A FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE
IMPERIAL, JINGDEZHEN KILNS, DAOGUANG FOUR-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN IRON RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The bottle is decorated with a continuous lower border of crashing waves, with a pair of magpies fluttering beneath a willow tree on one side, and bats amidst clouds on the reverse. Each narrow side is molded with a mask-and-ring handle.
2 1/8 in. (5.3 cm.) high, glass stopper
