A CARVED AGATE SNUFF BOTTLE
PROBABLY IMPERIAL, PALACE WORKSHOPS, BEIJING, 1760-1820
The bottle is carved on one side with a chi-dragon clutching a pearl, the reverse with two bats, all on a ground of stylized clouds. The stone is of various grey tones, with white and carnelian striations.
