AN OCHRE-OVERLAY BLUE GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
1780-1860
The bottle is carved through the opaque overlay to the translucent sapphire-blue ground on one side with a crane beneath a pine tree and a spotted deer beneath a pine on the reverse.
2 ½ in. (6.4 cm.) high, glass stopper
