A MOLDED PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE
JINGDEZHEN KILNS, 1830-1880
The bottle is molded in high relief with a sinuous iron-red dragon on one side and a green, yellow and black phoenix on the reverse. Both are shown on a ground of polychrome scrolling clouds and flames while pursuing a flaming pearl. The base has a four-character inscription in iron red reading 'Precious Collection of Yingchuan'.
2 ¾ in. (7.3 cm.) high, resin stopper
