A RARE MINIATURE CIZHOU BEAN-SHAPED PILLOW
JIN DYNASTY (1115-1234)
The slightly concave top is carved through the white slip with leafy scrolls reserved against a blackish-brown ground within a double-line border, all under a clear glaze, except for the unglazed base. Together with a miniature painted Cizhou figure of a recumbent tiger, Jin dynasty.
4 and 4 ½ in. (10.1 and 11.4 cm.) wide
