A VERY RARE WHITE-GLAZED INCISED 'PHOENIX' DISH
JIAJING SIX-CHARACTER INSCRIBED MARK WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1522-1566)
The dish has shallow sides rising to an everted rim, and the interior is incised with two phoenixes amidst lotus, all under a white glaze.
4 ½ in. (11.4 cm.) diam.
