A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE BARBED-RIM BOWL
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The rounded sides are decorated on the exterior with a row of petal-molded panels, each enclosing a lotus spray, below a band of birds perched on rocks amidst different flowers. The interior is decorated with a central roundel of a bird perched on rocks amidst narcissus and peony, beneath a band of stylized lotus and ruyi at the barbed petal rim.
