GUANGXU PERIOD (1875-1908)
Of oblong section, the vessel is decorated with bands of archaistic motifs, has a pair of loop handles surmounted by dragon heads, and is raised on a pedestal base with domed lower section. The domed cover is decorated en suite and in the center with a foliated dragon amidst clouds surrounded by four upright flanges with scalloped edges. The vessel is covered overall with a glaze of deep yellow color.
