GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER INCISED MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
Each vase is heavily potted, and covered on the exterior and interior of the neck with a glaze of deep crushed strawberry-red tone shading to a dark brownish-red on the indented corners, and sides of the faceted lug handles, and thinning to almost white on the edges. The base, which has been left in the biscuit, is incised with the reign mark.
