Celadon-glazed fish bowls with dragon decorations are very rare. A Yongzheng example in the Palace Museum, Beijing, is illustrated in The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum – 37 – Monochrome Porcelain, Hong Kong, 1999, p. 149, no. 135. Another earlier example, dating to the Kangxi period (1662-1722), with a more rounded shoulder, was sold at Christie's Hong Kong, 27 November 2013, lot 3210.
