Only the third edition in Latin of the Legenda Maior, approved by the order as the official biography of St. Francis. Two editions in Italian and one in Dutch appeared in the 15th-century, and the first Latin edition was printed at Paris in 1507; this Giunta edition is a reprint of the Paris edition.
