The colophon states that it was copied in the Ulugh Beg madrasa in Kara (?).
Najm-al-Din Abu Bakr ‘Ali bin ‘Umar al-Katibi al-Qazwini was born in Qazwin. He worked in Maragha at the observatory of Nasir al-Din Tusi and was a scholar on his works and author of many others on philosophy and logic. He died in 1277 AD.
