Opaque pigments on paper, each facing left, the first wearing helmet, coat of mail and bearing spear and shield, the horse heavily caparisoned, in wide red borders; the second wearing a white turban and tunic, bearing spear and shield, the horse simply saddled; the third wearing a white turban and tunic, the rein of his chestnut mount in the right hand, a spear in the left hand, a shield in his back ; each mounted, framed and glazed
