A PAIR OF ZITAN BOXES AND COVERS INSET WITH SPINACH-JADE PLAQUES
CIRCA 1900
The rectangular boxes are carved around the sides with geometrical motifs bordered at the top by a band of bats and flowers. The covers are each inset with a spinach-jade plaque incised with landscapes.
3 1/8 in. (8 cm.) high x 7 5/8 in. (19.5 cm.) wide x 4 5/8 in. (12 cm.) deep
