TWO YIXING PEWTER-ENCASED TEAPOTS AND COVERS
19TH CENTURY, THE PENTAGONAL TEAPOT WITH IMPRESSED FAN SHUZHENG ZHI MARK TO THE BASE
One teapot is of square shape and the other of pentagonal shape, both have a celadon jade handle and spout, one cover is surmounted by a celadon jade finial. One side of the pentagonal teapot is decorated with birds at flight, the other side is inscribed. The square teapot is decorated with a mountainscape on one side and is inscribed on the other.
3 3/8 in. (8.5 cm.) high max.
