A GROUP OF THREE BRONZE 'QILIN' WEIGHTS
LATE MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
Each weight is cast in the form of a crouching single-horned mythical beast, one with a pair of wings, all with a fearsome snarl on its face.
The largest, 3 3/8 in. (8.6 cm.) long, wood stands
