A SHE INKSTONE AND HARDWOOD BOX AND COVER
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The rectangular inkstone is carved to one side with stylised archaistic dragons and phoenixes and is incised to the reverse with a poetic inscription ending Hu Fan. The inkstone is set within a fitted hardwood box and cover of plain form.
4 3/8 in. (11.2 cm.) long

Property from a Private Asian Collection, predominantly assembled in the 1980s and 1990s.
