A GROUP OF FOUR BAMBOO AND HARDWOOD CARVINGS
20TH CENTURY
The group comprises: a boxwood carving of a cabbage inscribed to the base with shi bei shan ren; a bamboo box and cover carved in the form of a finger citron; a bamboo box and cover carved in the form of a bat, with a calligraphic inscription and signature to the base; and a hardwood box and cover carved with double gourds.
The largest, 7 ½ in. (19 cm.) long
