A COLLECTION OF SIX FAMILLE ROSE 'BARAGON TUMED' BOWLS
DAOGUANG PERIOD (1821-1850)
The group comprises two larger and four smaller bowls, decorated with seven leaf-shaped panels enclosing the Buddhist emblems of the 'Seven Regal Treasures' (Wheel of Law, elephant, horse, jewel, male deity, Minister, General) between borders of shou characters and bajixiang. Each has an iron red 'Baragon Tumed' mark on the base.
The larger bowls 5 ½ in. (14 cm.) diam.
