TWO MINIATURE JADE CONG
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644) OR EARLIER
The first is of square form with rounded corners carved in relief with four ribbed columns. The stone is of a mottled pale beige and dark brown tone with inclusions and flecks. The second cong is of square section, carved to the exterior with stylised taotie masks. The stone is of a greyish celadon tone with inclusions.
2 1/8 in. (5.5 cm.) high
