A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF BUDDHA
18TH CENTURY
The Buddha is shown seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base with his left hand in dhyanamudra and his right in bhumisparsamudra. He wears flowing robes draped over his left shoulder and incised at the hems. The downcast face is centred by a raised urna and there are traces of blue pigment in his hair. The base is sealed.
