A PALE CELADON AND RUSSET JADE 'DUCK' WATER DROPPER
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The washer is carved in the form of a recumbent duck with its head raised upwards, hollowed to the back and beak to hold and dispense water. The stone is of a pale celadon tone with areas of striking reddish-russet inclusions.
