A GREYISH-CELADON JADE CENSER AND COVER
18TH CENTURY
The censer is carved and pierced with phoenix-head and loose ring handles, the exterior carved in high relief with taotie masks above a stepped base. The one piece domed cover is similarly decorated, carved in high relief and surmounted with a dragon finial. The stone is of a greyish-celadon tone with inclusions.
