A DARK BLUE-GROUND EMBROIDERED LADIES ROBE
CIRCA 1900
The robe is embroidered with roundels enclosing butterflies, flowers, and bats, all above foaming waves with scattered auspicious objects, dragons and carps on lishui stripes. Together with: one green and one ivory skirt, a blue jacket, and a pair of maroon trousers.
