GUANGXU INCISED SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
The vase is of square pear form with a quatrefoil rim and is applied to the neck with two lug handles. It is covered in a rich flambé glaze of dark red tone, streaked with blue and thinning to a pale mushroom tone at the extremities.
