A CELADON JADE 'DUCK' WATER POT
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The water pot is carved in the form of a recumbent duck with its head turned backwards, clasping a delicate lotus stem in its beak, with two buds resting on either side of its back. The stone is of a pale celadon tone, with some minor areas of mottled inclusions.
