A PALE CELADON JADE PLAQUE
PROBABLY 19TH CENTURY
The plaque is carved in low relief with a boy carrying a stem of millet over his back. The reverse is carved with two characters written in seal script and a panel enclosing an archaistic dragon on a spiral ground. The stone is of a pale celadon tone with a small russet inclusion and a few light veins.
