THREE THANGKAS OF SADAKSHARILOKESHVARA, EKADASHALOKESHVARA AND AMITABHA
TIBET, 19TH CENTURY
The first depicting Sadaksharilokeshvara with a white body, seated in vajrasana on a lotus base, the four corners with Vajrasattva, Sadaksharilokeshvara, Manjusri and Vajrapani, in brocade mounting; another with Ekadashalokeshvara, standing on a lotus base, his principle hands in anjalimudra, the others radiating around his body, with eleven heads, surrounded by the eight Syamataras, a lower register with Vajrapani, in brocade mounting; the last with the red Amitabha surrounded by many figures and seated in the Western Paradise

Provenance
Ekada lokeshvara acquired in London, 11 November 1978.
The other two paintings acquired before 1981.
