A BRONZE OIL LAMP
NEPAL, 18TH CENTURY
On conical foot, with squat gadrooned body rising to a flaring mouth, the handle worked as a naga sheltering Vishnu on Garuda, the oil tray decorated with Durgamahishamardini, her arms radiating around her body, each hand with the prescribed attributes, flanked by a pair of guardians
