A CHINOISERIE RED, BLACK AND GILT LACQUER SIX-FOLD SCREEN
LATE 18TH/19TH CENTURY
In two sections, with black ground to one side and red to the the other, depicting watery landscapes to each side with rocky outcrops and island pavilions within a border with cartouches filled with a floral spray, bird or fish, with a carrying-handle to each end and a monogrammed coronet to each end section of the red side
Each fold: 60 ½ in. (154 cm.) high; 21 ¼ in. (54 cm.) wide
