A DIAMOND PENDANT/BROOCH
This lot is offered without reserve. The Peranakans were early Chinese immigrants who settled in Southeast Asia in the last 19th century and wore jewellery as a way of displaying their wealth and influence. Peranakan women adorned themselves with lavishly crafted yellow gold jewellery while the gemstone of choice was diamonds.
