SUE SCHOEN
Sue has been making bears for collectors since 1987. She usually concentrates on smaller bears 6 to 10 inches tall, but the odd 'big boy' as been created. Sue's bears have always been very popular and have twice won Teddy Bear Times reader award for the UK's favourite Teddy Bear Artist. Sue also won Cat.3 in 1993 and runner-up in Cat3 in 1994. This year her bear 'Pip' was nominated for a TOBY award. Since 1989 Sue has dispensed with the services of outworkers who have helped with her big bears and now creates bears totally on her own (apart from a little help from her son!)
