JENNIE SHARMAN-COX
Following an inspirational meeting with celebrated arctophile, Peter Bull, Jennie's childhood love of bears was reawakened. Using experience gained at art school studying ceramics and her work for a theatrical costumier, where Jennie learned to pattern cut, she began making bears in January 1990 under the name Mister Bear. 'Christie', is a traditional, old-style bear, 18 inches tall, made in English mohair and is typically representative of Jennie's work.
