With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with black semi-glossy dial, Roman numerals in white gold in 1997 and its subsequent sale in 27 June 1997.

Reference 5035 was the first wristwatch ever to be fitted with an annual calendar. The model was in production from 1996 to 2005. To the best of our knowledge, the present watch is fresh to the market.

The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 323.

For another example of the Reference 5035 in gold, please see Lot 2585 in this sale.
