Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated July 21st, 2010, product literature, Patek Philippe presentation box, Patek Philippe presentation slipcase, Patek Philippe leather envelope, outer packaging, and tie-tag.
Presented at Baselworld in 2010, the present watch is a very rare example of Patek Philippe's Native Indians of the Great Plains. Here we see one of the four dials introduced in this series where the subject is always depicted on horseback in a vibrant cloisonné enamel setting. The scene prominently describes vast landscape, clear blue skies, and even hands shaped like feathers, which all come together to illustrate great adventure in the open plains.
A miniature work of art which will last for generations and can be enjoyed everyday, the main features are formed via the cloisonné method in a mosaic of interwoven colors cast over a chased/engraved platform that brings contrast, definition and a sense of reality to the subject and his surroundings. Whether your personal taste in art may be realism, abstract, or fantasy, it is the enamelers' special relationship with the art of glass, metals and fire that bring us the fantastic dials we know as cloisonné.
