A rare blue and white Chad Valley teddy bear
with white mohair head and pale blue and turquoise 'tiger stripe' body and limbs, deep amber and black glass eyes, pronounced clipped snout, black stitched 'button' nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs, cloth pads, cardboard lined feet, label stitched to left foot pad and button in right ear --15in. (38cm.) tall, 1920s (slight fading, one eye broken, slight wear to pads)
