The following two lots have been donated and will be sold on behalf of BRITISH RED CROSS 'YOUTH' British Red Cross Youth and Juniors are not Red Cross members of tomorrow. They are Red Cross members of today; more than 22,000 of them, in 1,700 Youth Groups throught the U.K. And they are not just members of the Bristish Red Cross, but part of an International Movement 250 million strong, with a common purpose: the prevention and relief of suffering. Often working alongside adult members, Red Cross Youth help with rescue operations, man first aid posts, and look after disabled youngsters on holidays specially arranged for them. Amongst many other activities, they could be involved in projects to help children in the devloping countries overseas, and a number of other fund-raising ventures. To celebrate with the Red Cross their 125th Birthday, Merrythought and Dean's having very generously donated a very special teddy bear to be sold in order to raise funds for the Red Cross Youth.
