'Arthuritis', an early Ideal teddy bear
with dark golden mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced clipped snout, large round ears, black horizontally stitched nose, black stitched mouth and claws, swivel head, long jointed shaped limbs, felt pads, cardboard lined feet and hump --24in. (61cm.) tall, circa 1910 (darning to paw pads, slight wear to ankles and back of legs, small bald patch to inner left leg)
