"Jacques Dubourg, qui a été mon marchand après la mort de Nicolas de Staël - il ne voulait pas s'occuper de plus d'un peintre à la fois - aimait réellement la peinture. Sa collection personnelle était la plus belle que j'aie jamais connue chez un amateur. Et ce n'était pas grâce à l'argent."
