The shaped rectangular plate surmounted by a pierced S-scroll crest centred by a lion's mask supporting a cherub seated on a wine barrel and holding bunches of grapes, with an acanthus leaf and S-scroll apron centred by a shell, paper label to the reverse inscribed '... Mirror circa 1740 / from the TASTING ROOM / OF CHATEAU NR. DIJON'
