Each of baluster form, the upright loop handles with anthemion terminals, finely painted by Laurenz Herr, after Josef Kreutzinger with a three-quarter length portrait of the Emperor or Empress in court dress, the reverse gilt with crossed cornucopia issuing laurel extending into swags of ivy linked to entwined gilt wreaths (very minor scratches to one panel of one square foot)
