Located in the centre of Beaune Grèves, one block of vineyards around the small house (cabotte) in the vineyard. 4 hectares in total. Smoky aromas, like the ‘99 but with more depth and complexity. Deep pure well-aged Pinot with a floral tone. Very lively. Fresh and lively with almond aromas, elegant with beautiful intensity, sweet dried fruit in a refined style with silky tannins and superbly balanced. Great wine with lovely sweet touch on the lingering finish. 19/20. Last tasted during lunch at Château de Beaune in July 2015. E.V.
