A LONGQUAN CELADON 'LOTUS' BOWL
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
The deep sides are carved on the exterior with overlapping petals and covered with an unctuous bluish-green glaze. The mouth is bound with a gilt-metal rim.
4 ¾ in. (12.1 cm.) diam.
