A SMALL BLUE AND WHITE FACETED JAR
MING DYNASTY, 16TH CENTURY
Each broad side is decorated with ducks in a lotus pond, separated by narrow panels of lotus scroll, all between further decorative borders aound the shoulder and foot. The base is inscribed with an apocryphal Xuande mark.
