A LARGE GILT-DECORATED FAMILLE VERTE DISH
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The center of the dish is decorated with a floriform roundel containing a basket of flowers, beneath two registers of radiating lappets enclosing composite flower blossoms, all reserved on a stippled ground decorated with further flower blossoms below a band of shaped panels enclosing auspicious emblems between different diapers on the mouth rim. The base is inscribed with an artemesia leaf in underglaze blue.
