Handwritten letter dated, September 30th, 1946 on Hotel Broadview (East St. Louis, Illinois) stationary by Hall of Famer Grover Cleveland Alexander (1887-1950) explaining his difficulty in writing about pitching …I find myself in more trouble than if the bases were full and no one out. I have talked to youngsters several times, but I could use a baseball and show them and not have so much to say. Signed G. C. Alexander in pencil.
