SONG DYNASTY (960-1279)
Comprised of a Jun dish covered inside and out with a pale blue glaze with a purplish splash on the interior, the foot is unglazed exposing the biscuit body; a Jizhou jar covered inside and out with a dark brown glaze decorated with milky-russet splashes simulating tortoise shell, stopping above the foot revealing the light buff body; and a shallow bowl covered inside and out with a russet-brown glaze stopping irregularly above the foot revealing the buff body
