Pieces from the present service made for Cardinal Caprara are to be found in Rome at the Quirinale Museum, in St. Petersburg at the Hermitage, and in London at the Victoria & Albert Museum. A substantial portion of the service including many pieces of form was with Parisian dealer Christophe Perlès in 2013 [Christophe Perlès, Céramiques Anciennes, vol. 14, 2013, no. 61], some noted in his catalogue entry as having come through the collection of the Earl of Harrington, sold Christie's London, 17 May 1917, lot 49 for 194. pounds and 5 shillings to Andrews and some possibly those noted in David Peters' entry as having been sold at Sotheby's in the 1950's. Of the six ice pails in the original service, two with marks identical to those on the present two were sold Christie's Paris, 24 June 2003, sale 5058, lot 504 and have since been on both the London and American art markets.
