Lot Essay

Bracelets of similar triangular section and with similar attachment mechanism, are in the Khalili Collection, attributed there to Jaipur, 1860-70 (Pedro Moura Carvalho, Gems and Jewels of Mughal India, The Nasser D. Khalili Collection of Islamic Art, vol.XVIII, London, 2010, no.149, p.257). A similar pair of bracelets sold Christie's, London, 21 April 2016, lot 38.
