In praise of the Prophet, Arabic manuscript on paper, 199ff., four fly-leaves, 9ll. of black naskh script to the page, each line on gold-speckled ground within gold-ruled cartouche, with Persian red nasta'liq interlinear translation, important words in red, text within gold and polychrome rules, with numerous polychrome and gold illuminated bifolios, two illustrations of Mecca and Medina, the borders with polychrome illumination, main text followed by du'a hizb al-bahr, suras from the Qur'an, Qasida al-burda, index table at beginning, in fine floral lacquer binding
